Clutch Cargo

Hey... I found a link that has a clutch cargo clip on it. I can't play it coz I don't have real player... but if anyone does... let me know if it's a good clip.

Wow, Amy, I went to the link and that was terrific! "Clutch Cargo" had some of the best cartoon theme music ever (outside of Rocky & Bullwinkle, that is! ;) ).

"Cliff Dwellers" (one of the links on the site) is pretty representative of the beginning of a "Clutch" episode.

I was not aware that "Swampy" on that show was voiced by the guy who played Otis on "The Andy Griffith Show." A useful bit of trivia that will amaze everyone (anyone?) I can find who remembers Clutch Cargo... :D I liked Otis, but Ernest T. Bass was my favorite character on that show. I, uh, identified with him in some strange way... :rolleyes: ;) :D

"It's me, it's me, it's Ernest T."!! I love him too. The actor who played him was also a writer on the show and on the "Dick Van Dyke Show" my all time favorite non-cartoon show. "Otis" was also the voice for Jiminy Cricket in "Pinocchio". :)

Marcy, another amazing piece of trivia! Howard Morris was a writer on "The Dick Van Dyke Show?" Wow! What an incredible talent!

Hey! He was the voice of "Wade" on "U.S. Acres"! That used to come on "Garfield and Friends" on saturday mornings! One of my favorites!:D :cool:

I remember that Clutch Cargo was like this really cheep ass cartoon where only their mouths moved :D My sister had a Clutch Cargo kit where you could make your own cartoons,,,,,card-board cutouts of all the charactors :D
