....on the news the other day.

They were talking about the new Superman movie. It was our local news, and I was in the middle of bathtime with the kids so I didn't catch all the details. But they were saying that "Christians" were upset about something Superman's father says about "sending his only begotten son", and the way Superman is flying in one scene after "saving the world", it looks like a crucifix position.....

Yeah, kids identifying Jesus with Superman is awful! :rolleyes: I can't think of anything worse! Geez, could they pick a dumber thing to get in a twist about?

Did anyone else hear this?

I haven't heard it before now - but I'm sure that if our church catches wind of it, I'll hear it from the pulpit before long.

Gotta tell you... they were doing a spoof on it on the rock station in town. I knew it was real when I heard the spoof.... the fake preacher dude gets his material from real places!
