Notice for Private-message quota reached?

Is there a way a person could be notified when there private message quota has been reached? :confused:

I read the FAQ. :D

You will need to periodically delete old messages, as the administrator has probably set a limit to the number of private messages you can have in your folders. If you exceed the number of messages specified by the administrator, you will not be able to send or receive new messages until you delete some old messages.

The problem comes in when I want to send a private message to, let's say, Fred, and Fred already has 50 messages stacked up. If Fred doesn't know he's been sent 50 messages there is no graceful way to tell him. :o

I just do a short post in one of the forums that says,,,"HEY FRED(incert colorful metaphore) EMPTY YOUR MESSAGE BOX !!!!!! :D Please note;The colorful metaphore is optional :p

Oh, well. Like the colorful metaphore, I guess graceful is optional too. :o

It would be nice if you could send a private message and not draw the attention of the whole forum. But if we have to, we have to. (A man has to do what a man has to do.) :cool:

Luckily in this case I already know that the person already knows that their private message quota has been reached. :)

you can go into your pm box and delete all sent messages and regular inbox
