I think quite a few people have had experiences with Calvary Chapels here.

Here is a Christianity Today piece (http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2006/119/12.0.html)on a debacle going on in at Calvary Chapel Albuquerque.

BTW, got this link from a hardcore fundamentalist blog which shall remain nameless because I don't want to invite the site operator's vitriolic wrath, I mean, "righteous anger." But her introductory statement before showing the link was

"If you want some insight on why the evangelical church has so little credibility among non-blelievers,"

Yeah, like the fundamentalist church has a lot of credibility among non-believers. LOL.
