Appears it subjects the Bible and the Quran to "critical text" examination, much as Brooke Westcott and Fenton J. A. Hort did in the 1870s and '80s in their revision of the King James Bible, and both books fail to hit the mark of the author's standards for guides by which we should live. Interesting tome for these times...

Have you ever heard of Juan Baixeras? Some of his articles on the Bible were given to me by an elder at an OPC around here a few years ago. I think he might agree with Nelson-Pallmeyer, the author of "Is Religion Killing Us?"
