I only yesterday had a chance to catch up a bit with the posts on this forum. I too am concerned for her, HOPING that she hasn't really left the forum, and just wanted you all to know that I too am praying.
Sort of complicated times for me--so I'll spare you the details--but I'd appreciate your prayers for my recovery as well from (among other things) a renewed diagnosis of pleurisy etc. Thanks.
Blessings to you all---

I haven"t heard from her and I am worried. I have been praying the Lord will give her a nudge to come back so we can find out how she is doing.
Praying for you to Theodora .Wouldn"t it be nice for one day of some freedom from our troubles. Just a nice rest day I would take.:)
Life isn"t fun!!! butterfly
Dear Theodora,
No, I haven't heard from her either. I sent her a private message but so far there's been no response. I am hoping that she's okay and that maybe after she's had some time to think things through that she'll come back.
Yes, I will be keeping you in prayer. I'm sorry to hear that you're still struggling so much with your health. :(
Take care and I pray for you to have a blessed day,
Love, Gwen

I haven't heard anything either :(
Hi, everyone,
I'm still here after having not been on the computer for a few days - I was just too "done in" for awhile... Still am. Very humbled by all of your concern: you are all so dear to me! I will respond to each private message; haven't checked them yet.
Just kind of lost it last week. No safe place for me. :( The "church" thing and the "home" thing kind of melted together on me... Still have a head and neck injury. I saw a doctor yesterday and he checked my blood clot on my head. He said, well, that's going to take some time to "resolve." This is such a blasted mess. Even got into a "discussion" with my hematologist and quit him; I'll have to find another one because I do have myelodysplasia... and aplastic anemia in partial remission... Whatever.
There are so many mean people in the world!!!! And some of them, I'm related to!!!
I'm so sorry for any worry I caused any and all of you who responded. :( I just couldn't take any more last week and was way on overload...
You have not been out of my prayers, though.
Love to all,
mary

Please keep posting as you can!!! --and know that we DO care! SO very sorry for all of your recent pain, but.....the fact that you're able to come back and post "out of your depths" is testament to the skills that you DO have to survive all of this.
Keeping you in prayer!!!

Will be watching for your update(s) when/as you can get to it. Don't forget that most public libraries (I think) now have free computer access for the public as well---hint, hint! ;) Don't stay away any longer than you need to, OK???
Love and prayers--

gag... are you getting the dreaded "thermal event" message? My work PC did that and they told me it was a motherboard meltdown. I had to actually come in to the hospital to work tonight... don't know when the Dell service people will be able to fix it.
May God have mercy on our computers, our lifelines... :o

yes Mary, popped by yesterday saying she was needing to take her computer in for repairs. She also pm'd yesterday saying her head was mending but she was needing time to regroup but hoped to be back. Remembering Mary. C....
Got my computer back... The technician told me that this was the "dumbest" but yet easiest repair he'd ever seen. Apparently, at the factory, whoever assembled my CPU had forgotten to put a clip on the wiring that connected the coolant fan to the power supply. Eventually, the non-clipped wiring simply slipped off and my coolant fan was "non-functional." He told me he'd never seen this before...
Anyway, thanks, everyone. I don't know if I ever mentioned I have a hip that needs to be replaced (had the right one done 7 years ago) and the left one lately has been - ahem - demanding my attention. I'll have to do the blood donation thing and all, so it won't be immediately, but it will be in the next couple of months...
When it rains, it pours... I feel like Job. :(

Hi mary,
I'm relieved to hear from you! We were all terribly worried. I'm not sure why it seems that things gang up on us sometimes, but it seems they do. :(
There is a minimally invasive hip replacement procedure out there that has a phenomenal recovery rate. You might check into it. One of the ortho docs I work for does it. I have some video of a patient of his walking around in the recovery room directly after wakingg up from his surgery!
(((((Theodora))))), (((((Willow)))), everyone...
Thanks... I felt really bad that I'd worried people... :( I'll definitely, for sure, try never to do that again.
The "family problem" of two weeks ago was actually caused by what started out to be an innocuous discussion of our "old" church... So many horrible things have happened to me because of that rotten, stinking, little hellhole and its demon-pastor.
We drove 142 miles today (one way!) to attend a church and meet some people of and to whom we'd been talking to on the phone and reading their newsletter for several years. It was excellent. Four different people - including the pastor! - invited us to their homes for lunch afterwards, but we had to get home to meet up with our son. We'll definitely go back to see these folks another time. There are literally no decent churches around here... That Messianic fellowship is the closest thing I can find to a "church," but it's really just a "shul," or synagogue, in which many of the congregants are no longer rabbinic Jews but instead are born-again believers in Jesus Christ. Then there's also a flock of us Gentiles there. So really, it's okay... We're sure learning a lot of Hebrew - fast. I just really want a nice, maybe medium-sized, Bible-teaching and -preaching, church. I guess that's too tall an order for this metropolitan area.
I pray that this week, the Lord will bless each of you who frequent this forum, that He'll give His peace to you, not as "the world" gives, but as only He gives... Love, grace and His mercy in abundance to all -
mary

:) Mary please don"t feel bad. I knew you were in an emotional storm.
I am releaved you came back and said you were ok.:D
It is awfull how much church can cause so much pain.  To familys and peoples lives.
When I became a christian I had never known how painfull and damanging it could be.
For me it is non stop. Better days for all of us on this forum I pray. butterfly Shirley

Shirley, you are so right.
When I was living in Detroit and going to the Roman Catholic church that I was brought up in (this "mama" had 4,000 families, if you can believe it!), I was miserable but I didn't quite know why. You could "fade into the background" there, though, and nobody would set out to torture you. They didn't care that much. ;)
Then I leave the RCC, get born again and try to get involved in a couple of small, Protestant, allegedly Bible-preaching "churches" - and the terrible, unconscionable things that I've talked about in this forum happen to me. What is wrong with this picture??? These MUST be the last days or something... Pastors turning into lackeys for Satan, "other Christians" doing their evil biddings -- wow, am I sick of church!!!! (Except for the one we went to today, which we can't go to all the time because it's too far away...)
Shirley, may the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you this week...
