...that I've just read your post in response to Patty's query about your background in the church and that you will be much in my heart and in my prayers in the days ahead.

Know that all that happened to you at the hands of the "church" was certainly ABUSE and that it is THEIR failings, NOT your "lack of faith" which contributed to this dreadful situation.

In the time I've been reading--or trying to read!---the posts here, I've seen you really progress both in your ability to identify and be articulate about what has happened to you AND to "report" this with what might indeed be called "serenity." You might not see it that way, since I can only begin to imagine how VERY deep your pain is, but know that you ARE a good person and a STRONG person and I DO believe that God is working in your life and in the lives of those you love.

your prayers are coveted.

My husband and I do feel the healing over the last year.

We just don't know what to do about the future in regards to church and raising our children. It breaks my heart not to see my little ones in Sunday school learning hymns about Jesus...and yes, I do teach them, but as someone who is tone deaf can understand, they won't learn them the way the songs sound:D .

Last night on my ride home, I really believed that I don't have to make a decision any time soon- that we are exactly where we are supposed to be for today- resting in Him.
