Helluva christmas here in WillowLand! Woke up to screams in the night... mom's nightmares. She's not adjusting well to the move. She's not sure she'll live through it this time :( I need prayers for my mom please... thanks!

nightmares? Wow. Willow I posted to the other thread about your mom before I read this.

Has she been attacked by someone? Is she having flashbacks? Maybe she is really afraid of dying.

Can I do anything to help? Will be praying. Wish I knew a great book to tell you to read or give you some really awesome advice but I don't have anything.

I really think prayer is what mom needs now. I'm at a loss about what to do for her. I think it's just a matter of adjustment. I had planned on sitting down with them and talking over the sudden decision to move... but Dad signed the contracts before I had a chance to even say boo. So now it's a matter of adjusting to the changes. I just feel really bad for mom. Dad's happy as a clam. He'll be OK.

Hey... I talked to my mom on the phone and she sounded better! She actually got out and took a walk around her new neighborhood. She and dad met some of their new neighbors and ate dinner with them. Keep praying... it's working!!!

Sounds like anxiety that accompanies a move. My parents went through the same thing when moved from the country to a small apartment. It did pass. It is more common than one thinks.
