The excitement indicated by the exclamation point is a little more than I feel about this. Is anyone else experiencing discomfort around the new forum 'look'? I can't get by the feeling that I feel cut off, somehow.

It is hitting me in some raw area. Probably around change in general, and how most things are changing for the worst in our world. I wish the Lord would just come back and get it over with.

(((Hol))) I'm sorry things weren't so great earlier today. I hope they are going better for you now. At least the smilies are funner now. But I too feel pretty isolated with this new software - I wish we could see all the threads and all the threadlettes at the same time like we used to could. This is a hard time of the year for another change like this - we have kiddies going back to school, we have daylight shortening and darkness increasing, and whatever else may be going on in our lives. Praying that you will find the comfort of spirit that you seek. Hang in there - I think you are cool! :cool:

Hol, you are most welcome. :) You are so right about the shortning days, longer nights, and overall drop in temperatures. sigh. I recently heard that getting brighter colors in our environs makes it easier for SAD people like me to get through the dark winter. And I was looking *so* hard last year to add color to my wardrobe!! So this year I already got some international orange fleece and it's just laying on my bed for now. When the sun hits it, my whole room just glows! Now I know why I was craving colors so badly last year. FWIW :p but I do hope you had a great day today! And that tomorrow is even better! :)

It is a little bleak, isn't it. I'm working on the 'avatar' system which will allow each registered user to have their own image. You can see I've already got one. This might take a while since I can only work on this project a little bit at a time. But I think it will greatly enhance the 'look'. At least I hope so.

Depending on how you have it configured, you can see all the threads and sub threads.

The choices are made in the user/cp area.

I believe I chose the hybrid display and it makes things much easier.
