So....do we call this a VERY, very "late night" for both of us.... ;) :) --- or are you up EARLY???!?! I noticed your post looking for Janice and your comment about it being a "boring morning."

So....

Something else to think about for you---

What traditions do you and your wife have for the Thanksgiving holiday? Are there special foods you "always" prepare? Family recipes? Do your kids and grandkids join you? (ARE they around...or more scattered?) What other family do you have? (Connected???) Are you involved in any kind of church these days? (And, if not, how are you using all that wonderful Bible scholarship???)

Well....

You get the idea! Thinking of you and yours this day and wondering how YOU'RE doing too.

Grace and peace---! :) :D

When are you going to join the likes of Erma Bombeck and start writing your memoirs??!!??! ;) :D Thanks for taking the time to share a bit of your "life and times" with me/us. (And tell your daughter-in-law that she's "my kind of folks"---I too can't get through "It's a Wonderful Life" without tearing up, though I won't quite admit to "blubbering" all the way through it!)

Do you know Bombeck's book "Family--the ties that bind and gag?" (I think that's the title!" Pretty good and "down to earth" as I remember it!

In any case--

Keep your sense of humor and "keep on 'keepin' on'" as my brother-in-law says!

Hope you were able to get some rest! Enjoy the rest of the day..."unless you have other plans!"
