Anyone are you still losing post?. Have to sign in again11-2-05

I have replyed to post and when I click on submit. The sign in comes up. I have to sign in again and I lose the post. This makes me very mad. It doesn"t happen all the time. butterfly [Shirley]

Dear Shirley,,,
If you delete cookies a lot like I do,,,,,,,,you may be deleteing the cookie that remembers you to the server. This site functions on about 30 different cookies.If you get that prompt again,,,,,click your back button and that should retrive your post.Then click "Save As" and put the whole thing in My Doccuments...Then close the web page and renavigate to the site and sign in again.Then you should be able to submit your post from My Doccuments,,,,,,,,,,,,,,More than one way to skin a kitty :eek: :D

When that happens to me, clicking the back button usually retrieves the text submission box but NOT the post inside it. :(

I'm finding that when I take a longer amount of time typing in a post and when I submit it, that it's coming up that I have to sign back in. When I sign in and then go back to the forum threads then my new post is there. I'm wondering, though, this just started happening this past week. It seems like a lot of people are having this problem and sometimes losing their posts altogether. So far I haven't lost any posts. I'm wondering it there's something that the admin can fix.

Thanks Gwen it has done this to me with longer post. I will try to see if I can get my post back like you did.
I get real mad when I have taken time and thought on a post :mad: then lose it.
I have done this three times posting to Leslie. I made a short post and it went thru. This has never happen to me before. butterfly[shirley]
