Hi Theo :)

I have been having a very active year. It's been fun. A local church that I visited awhile has been working on me to attend. I think it's best if I don't. I tried a dating excursion with a fella that attends there. It just seemed respectful and right to leave his church and him in peace once we realized the relationship wouldn't work. Besides... I still find the church atmosphere highly triggering and fall backwards 100% when I'm in a church service. I feel happier and more peaceful outside of church these days. I found a group of motorcycle enthusiasts that have accepted me. I've ridden with them twice now and really love the comradery they have with each other. One of the rides was to raise money for one of their friends who had a brain aneurism. We raised over $1000 to help her with doctor bills and trailer payments and such. She is a pastor's kid and sang a couple of songs for us at the event. Said she learned to sing in church. I wanted so badly to talk to her about church... but that may come later. She was doing good just to be there for a couple of hours.

I could probably write more... but will stop here for now. Good to see you too!

What a joy to have you "sounding" so much more hopeful and reporting some good things. I think it's really important that you've identified where you CAN find support and what is still triggering you. I'm sorry that the church atmosphere is included here, but I DO understand!!! (Good for you for at least trying to attend with your "fella," however!--and how very special to have you involved with a group which is so supportive of one of its members! Do remember that God is not confined to the four-walls of a church!)

Please do post as you can. .....and thanks for your update!!!

I truly feel as if I've pulled out of the muck this year. Whew!
How are you doing? Are you feeling less worried about your son now?
