Thanks Emerging. I have always hated this day. ALWAYS~ My brother and I were talking last night and it to some extent there is someone we always expect to understand and maybe I won't take it so much for granted anymore....I deal with it as best I can even if it means I hide. Get this my mom and daughter are coming out to see my sister in law and wait on her...she has the neighbors and her family and I didn't even have my own family through my sickness. Life sucks!oH WELL! I need to get rid of this attitude that someone owes me and move on for the rest of the day and just chalk it up to. Life happens~

When we adopted our older son, we used a quote from the poet Tagore who said that "Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man"...OR, one might add WOMEN!

At a certain point in our "journey," I know it DOES become painful (AND somewhat UNREAL!!!) to mark the passage of time and think.....sigh!!!!!....there I am "another year older and deeper in debt" as the old song goes, or indeed, as with other "family occasions," think here's another day in which I must brace myself against being disappointed AGAIN by those who SHOULD be remembering me.

Sweet child of God.... though we can't take that pain from you, we CAN assure you that you ARE being remembered with love and prayer this day and that we DO believe that there is yet "purpose" for all of us, no matter how "challenged" we may be.

Keep the faith as best you can....

....and find what happiness you can today in just BEING YOU!!!
