Seriously, may your computer's problems be minor and "cheap" to fix.

The computer is back up. Also had five days with out phone service. The wiring was replaced and the computer is working at blazing DSL speed. I hope

It was a trial I could do without. I finally went a sales rep at local computer store and told him I was going to cancel my service and what could he do to keep me as customer. It is old customer service trick. The DSL was fine.

What irritated me is the customer no service seemed to shirk their responsibility and would not set up an expectation of when I could get my service.

As it turned out. The wiring in the apartment was coroded beyond recognition. As soon as the wiring was replaced, the service finally started worked at high speed expectations.

What was challenging was owning my anger, but not let it escalate to rage.
