Some of you may know that I am a self-employed software consultant.

Today, it seems that the gods of software and hardware (no deep theological implications here) are lined up against me. It really seems like somebody has it in for me. I am experiencing problems with setting up software that nobody else in the world seems to be experiencing.

Oh by the way,

DEATH to Microsoft!

Anyway, it is really wearing down on me and the frustration level keeps going up. I have customer demands to satisfy and this is not a good thing to happen.

My hat is off to you for the kind of expertise it takes to even TRY to understand these things. (My younger son, our Marine, is also working with computers. I know he's speaking English when he tries to describe what he's doing in his work, but it's WAY beyond my possibilities!)

What a wonderful thing that we DO all have different abilities in this world, isn't it??? BEST wishes to you as you deal with your technical problems AND frustration with it all!!!

I think software has to be the quirkiest product around.
What worked yesterday won't work today.

I too, hope today is going better. Prayers for your success with this project.

I wonder if we have these problems in order to build character??

Thanks everyone. Things indeed got better and I was able to meet with the client today.

Now time to relax...
