Help me find my post! pooof it was gone

:mad: :mad: I just wrote a post in Blakes thread. I was in preview post. I hit my mouse by mistake and Pooooooof my post was gone. All that was left was a white screen for posting.I pushed my back button to see if I could find it there nope. Can anyone tell me where it went and how to retrieve it? It makes me very anger because I took alot of time and thought on that post!! :( :( butterfly

...but I too have done things like this and I can REALLY empathize both at your frustration at lost work AND at being upset that there are times that I think we DON'T really know what has happened. Sometimes it MIGHT be our own error---sometimes that can be corrected..as you tried to do...other times it seems that it's "fatal." OTHER times, there are sometimes sort of "hiccups" in the computer system....either ours or somewhere along the line.

The best "advice" I can give you...though I seldom follow this myself!....is to compose your longer messages either off-line with a blank message and THEN go on-line to post it...OR...compose the response in your e-mail program (or other) and then, when you're ready to post the reply, do a "copy-paste" into the board response. THAT way, if there IS something going on that's affecting how your message is being received, you've at least got a copy of your work and can try again later.

Blessings to you! I might suggest a separate post to Blake when you can get to it. I'm sure he'd appreciate at least knowing that you TRIED to respond to him!!!
