"Magicbear" of the NACR forum has been involved in starting a men's ministry group at his church. He recently posted about a book they had studied and found helpful, e.g. Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul

I've just looked at the reviews for this book on amazon.com. Initially, I must admit that my initial reaction to what I might "learn" from this was mixed.
In any case, if you happen to know of this book and/or are interested enough in "men's issues" to want to look this up and participate in a possible book "discussion" on NACR...as we can get at it...I'd encourage you to use that thread as a starting point for what might be a good way to enter into some fairly significant "sharing"/discussion here.
Just a thought...or two! ;) :)

P.S. Not to exclude you women from this either! Obviously, this has raised some "resonant" thoughts in me and is something I also would be interested in reading/considering....for various reasons. FYI--Among other things, Eldridge has ALSO written: Captivating : Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul I find myself recoiling a bit from the thought that any man has deigned to think 1) that there IS such a thing as a "woman's soul" let alone that 2) that HE, as a man, can "unveil" it! But...so much for my "knee-jerk" reactions of the moment. Just thought you might like to know of these books, although, from what Magicbear shared in his post, I gather that it may be only I who has never heard of this man before! Nothing like feeling REALLY "old" and "out of touch!"
