Not much more time to post right now. Just wanted to tell you that I've "been here," have scanned your messages and will continue to keep you all in prayer as I bid your prayers for me and my family as well.

My "adventure" of yesterday was having my husband take me shopping for some needed shoes/clothes for the wedding. "Mission accomplished"--but it was SO tiring!!!

Doing what I can to continue to juggle "priorities" and my own health needs. Amazingly, I slept RELATIVELY well last night and am not up QUITE so early. The back continues to bother me, but is better---I THINK!---and I have an appointment to see my chiropractor this a.m. I'm needing to be REALLY careful not to over-do, however---and that's NOT easy!!! You should have seen me yesterday a.m., for example, as I had wanted to put up our son's "remembrance" Yellow bows on our trees in front as I had last year when he came home from Boot Camp...and I DID that. Talk about "hugging a tree"---!!!--- I was on our kitchen step-ladder, LITERALLY doing that to get the bow tied and in an "awkward" position that I doubt my chiropractor would approve! ;) :D

OK.....

So NOW I'll try again to be a "good girl" and try to find people to do the lifting of "stuff" etc. which needs to be done, so that I don't over-do. I'd just as soon not have my back in spasm at the wedding, if at all possible!!! ;) :p

Thanks for "listening" ---and for your prayers, as able!

Theodora

P.S. Janice---thanks for telling me of your experience with your adult "kids." Yes...I CAN see some "benefits" of the "Empty Nest"---but the initial stages ARE hard, aren't they??!?! I'm thankful for the various resources which I have in place---and GOOD friends, including you dear folk here---who are helping me to get through this.
