We've not yet had a chance to get acquainted, but I wanted to acknowledge your posts here and to welcome you to the forum(s). I mostly post on the more general NACR forum, but I also try to follow the discussions here when/as I can.
I note from the information given in your profile that you have emigrated to England (from??? If I may ask...?) Just wondering...since it would seem that the influence of our cultures really affect our possibilities/experience in churches as well. It's a curious thing to puzzle over!
In any case, know that I'll be "listening in" here, when/as I can. At the moment, things are relatively complicated for me and I don't always know when I can be "here," but you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Grace and peace to you and yours this day/night....I'm in the U.S.A in Nebraska..ie. CDT....I'm assuming that London time is c. 8 hours or so ahead of us??? FWIW, as you begin to interact here more, do know that we're becoming somewhat of a global community, so that "real-time" reponses might not always be possible for your posts. Kerrin, for example, is in Australia...which is my time plus FIFTEEN hours, I think! Sort of "boggles the mind" to try to get a grasp on these time differences!)

If you find that some of your issues expand beyond strictly "spiritual abuse"--the focus of this forum-- you might also like to get acquainted on NACR---Lots of good folk in both "places," I've found!!! (Your registration is good for all forums, so that's not a problem.)
