Can anyone explain the "forum math?"

Hi....Just curious as to what is happening....no "biggie." Recently I've noticed that the number of users in the "What's going on" area is much larger than it has been...even a few days ago. However, when I look at the people who are shown as viewing the two forums and total those, it is never even close to the new tally of people shown as accessing this site. S0???? Where is everybody? Getting ready to sign up as a user? Viewing something (like the No Crosstalk forum?)which doesn't seem to have a viewer count listed? :confused:

There's probably a simple answer for this and/or not something worth asking about, but it just sort of piqued my curiousity. If anyone has answers for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
