Hi everyone! I want to thank you for your love and support and especially your prayers.

My sister went to the doctor today. This is what the doctor said.

She has a small tumour approximately 1 1/2 centimetres. The doctor has scheduled an operation for Monday to remove the tumour and a few glands under the arm. Afterwards, she will go for radiation therapy for three weeks.

It was good to actually get some news. The news is hopeful. Now it's just one day at a time. Sound familiar?

My step father just had surgery last fall for prostate cancer. They caught it really early. He is doing very well.

Hi, I have a friend who went thru breast cancer 5 years ago. It was small like your sisters and she has been cancer free all this time. You two are in my prayers. butterfly :)

my mother-in-law had the same thing. they removed the lump and most of the glands under her arm and no problem ever since. and that was over 20 years ago. i hope your sister does well and you too. thinking of you.

P.S (My Grandmother had breast cancer too ,and lived to be 89 which was about 20 years after her diagnosis ;) ).

I'm glad you had news. They are doing wonderful things with breast cancer these days, all those pink ribbons seem to be doing some good.
