Weird news about the 2nd church

I don't have a lot of time to write but I wanted to share this with you.


Remember after we left our church we visited another church? That church had a pastor (who would later not finish our cabinets :mad: ) that thought GOd called him back to california so a new pastor came....and then there was a horrible split in the church...


well I just bumped into someone who followed the new pastor. The new pastor announced Sunday that GOd told him to leave his church and move to Washington!



OK SO TO MAKE THIS CLEAR:

1. First God tells pastor 1 to move to California
2. God tells Pastor 1 and 2 that Pastor 2 will be pastor when he sells his house(1)
3. Pastor 2 moves here.
4. Pastor 2 calls leadership of church and gets pastor (1) booted out before his house sells.
5. God tells Pastor 1 to stay here; that He only told Pastor 1 to move to California to expose the evil in Pastor 2.
6. Most of the church goes with Pastor 1.
7. Pastor 2 builds a new body within that denomination
8. God tells pastor 2 to leave his new church (Just started it in Sept) to go to Washington.
9. The people are left confused after staying with him and not following pastor 1
10. Pastor 1 heard about Pastor 2 and called them all to invite them to his church- now not affiliated with the denomination.


OK SO EITHER GOD IS INSANE; GOD IS INTO RELOCATING EVERYONE EVERY MONTH OR SO
OR THIS IS WHY THIS NONESENSE IS MAN MADE AND NOT GOD MADE!!!!


Yet another reason why I have trust issues....especially with those who claim to hear from God about other's lives...

Hi Jane:

Since I don't believe God is insane, I"d have to go with nonsense and man made. Man mad?
To me it's proof that God is not working with these folks.

Amen sister Jane!!!!! Every time people in the "church" decide to do something that would otherwise be explained by the phrase"because I want to"they say God told them to do it. This has happened a million times in my church and usually it has to do with someone leaving the congregation.Because it is taught that God placed you in a home church and that it is sin to go elsewhere they need an excuse for those acceptable people (their family usually) to leave.Crazy.BUT if they allowed everyone to do as they chose with no fear then how many would stay?To be able to say that God told them this was the right thing to do lets them off the hook --they aren't accountable for their own selfish desires like the rest of us.Call me a cynic.....
