Hi, we am new here.we would like to mention that I have been dxd with dissociative identity disorder, well actually I was dxd back when it was still called multiple personality disorder. so if my/our posts seem a bit strange that is why.
We must say right at the moment we are a bit nervous. We have been abused several times in the name of Jesus. We just left prayerfully my last spiritual abusive situation. By situation what we mean, is that not all of the spiritually abusive situations we have been in church settings in fact the last 3 which have all happened in the last year and a half have not been in church settings but rather with people that we met online. sometimes wonder if we have a big target on my forehead or something. Anyhow once again we are free and this time Jesus willing we will stay safe.
Right now we are feeling really scared and confused. Maybe the people that we just walked away really were sent to us by Jesus but does Jesus use cutting people down alot. Does He tell people that they know nothing when people ask questions and disagree? We just do not see it that way any more (at least we try not to). We believe Jesus wants all to love and to share His Love with those around us. Yet it is scary to walk away. The people we just walked away from kept saying that they are Prophets and that any thing they say to us is from God , like they are His mouth piece.
Well that is a bit about where we are at.. we hope this community will be one that we can meet friends that are safe. That we can be there for others as well as to get support.
