:o I apologize for writing "Mum" as opposed to "Mom"!

We are all the same!
Yes, there are some of us who don't feel much, but a sense of sadness, anger, horror, disgust, at not having a mother to show you your worth or value ,EVER!
How can a child appreciate someone who made you aware you were NOT wanted and were a hindrence ,and a tool for them to use however they chose while you grew up.

Mothering yourself, and siblings the best way you knew how..........
Always feeling like a failure, NEVER able to make the grade to be even acceptable. :(

Never knowing what it is like to be nurtured, loved and wanted! :(
I was thinking about mother's day and started to feel sorry for myself, "you know ,single mother.......all alone ,no-one to make ME feel special........."

I had this wonderful revelation!
I looked at my beautiful daughter, who is blossoming into a beautiful young woman, strong and confident, smart and pretty, witty etc....
Who ,of late hugs me a lot and tells me I'm pretty, (for a mum) :D

She is concerned that there is NO way to make me "feel" special!!!

I told her SHE is my gift EVERY single day!
I thank God I have her, because I can give her ALL of what I wanted from my mother and never will get!

((((((((All you Special Mothers))))))))))) On Mother's day!!! Doing It a little ,or a lot tough, like me!!! :)

We are special because we are giving our daughter's what we so desperatly needed and doing it WELL!

I have decided to give my daughter a gift instead! I can't wait to see her face!
That' s all I want .that beautiful smile!
(NO guilt about not being able to "buy" me something..........just her the way she is!!!) :)

In Love ,
Kerrin
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO YOU ALL!!!!! :)
