Feeling silly...

Hey, guys. I'm feeling like a little kid whose friends have all got a new toy that they really like and are all enthused about and I don't. I'm really glad that you are all so comfortable with this format. I really am; I would hate to think that all of us are feeling like I am! I don't know if it might be a combination of my fear of the unknown and complicated added to a sense that my discomfort doesn't seem to be noticed... and that I don't seem to be missed (Oh Lord, how pathetic...)

Sometimes I am such a little child.

I guess that is the basis for alot of where, and how, I am. Just a child, looking for home and family.

Sigh.... actually, I am doing okay. The kids have both settled into school in such a way that I feel somewhat comfortable. I have a BAD case of poison ivy, but I'm taking that philosophically (sp?) and not blaming myself for being stupid. (Even though I DID show poor judgement!)

Anyway, I am still here, occasionally, and still feel very connected to you all, although I'm not keeping up with things.

Those of you who like to pray, keep me in your prayers! Hol

I'm not yet really "comfortable" with this format either and goodness knows I'm still making lots of mistakes here, but I AM learning....and that's a kind of blessing out of all of this! It IS hard to learn enough QUICKLY enough though to suit my own "li'l kid" anxiety about this.

HOWEVER....Here we are and we ARE somehow "together," so I'll be thankful for that tonight.

And YES....as I just posted to you....I AM thinking of you and I will be keeping you in prayer.

LOTS!!! :p I was thinking how the SA forum is TOOOOO quiet, .... but I didn't want to bug anyone into posting ... :rolleyes: ... and comfortable with this new forum? Not yet, not at all!! But pretending like I know what I"m doing .... "fake it til you make it" .... sigh. Just trying to learn it "line upon line" and as time goes on I figure out something else about it. I totally agree change is no fun ... but the alternative of having my "handle" stolen is LESS fun for sure!!

I REALLY hope to "see" more of you here as time allows. You are precious! :)

I have this special cream that might help that "Poison Ivy",,,,what it's really for is to make you look like a teenager...You put it on at night,,,,,and the following morning you will have a raging case of "Achne" with lush red "Carbunkels" :eek: :D

My poison ivy is better today... it has stopped weeping all over the place. I'm doing pretty good except for my scabby nose!!!!

We leave tomorrow, Don and I, for a chaplain's conference in Niagara Falls. It is the first time we've gone away together alone for more than a night or two in so many years we can't remember when we did last! It'll be nice to be together.

Anyway, I won't be on, I guess, for a week or so.
