I DID catch your message for me in the "Private Messages" box, however, I've not yet really learned to use that feature, so you'll have to forgive me, if you would, for not responding earlier....or responding "properly!"

Hope you have a good day today! I actually thought of you this past Sunday as I was preparing sandwiches in "assembly-line" fashion to take to a potluck at church. Every situation brings new challenges/new learning experiences, doesn't it???

Hang in there! I'm thankful to have seen some really good things happening in your life over this past year....including your ability to recognize where you are having problems and to be honest about it....and then to move THROUGH the pain. Good for you!!! :)

Love and prayers--

Hope you have a REALLY good day today. I'm glad you're here....and it seems we're on-line "together" this a.m. too.

Grace and peace!....and please do keep my family and me in special prayer for the week ahead, OK? Just received an e-mail from our Marine...who will be arriving Omaha tomorrow night!! This is all SO "unreal," though our various activities proclaim that this is all very much HAPPENING!!! Gulp! Will take a while to "process" all the feelings about this, I'm sure, so I appreciate everyone's patience and prayers as I do this!!! Hard to believe the wedding is just a little over a week away.

"Sunrise, sunset...." Gulp...MY "baby son"....now a Marine and to be married! I keep saying..."WE'RE not 'getting older,' but these 'kids' sure are aging us!!!" Please do pray for wisdom and strength to get through all of this AND patience and courage and discernment as we try to remember that "There are only two real gifts you can give your children: one is roots and the other is wings!" We're working hard to "allow" them to "fly!"

But OH...WHAT a poignant, "intense" time!!!! ;)

Love,

Theodora

P.S. I just realized that---of all our choices on the "emoticons" given, there are none which allow us to express our tears as well!!! Sort of like... :'-( ... or however I've seen that done. As you might guess, as difficult as things have been for me lately, those tears are REALLY close to the surface right now! I WILL get through this, though I ALSO plan to have plenty of tissues handy for us all!!!
