History:
RPI Publishing was founded in 1987 by Ron and Valerie Halvorson. Their best selling The Twelve Steps--A Spiritual Journey was first published in 1988 and over 500,000 copies are now in print. Many churches with recovery programs have groups using this workbook.

Attitude toward AA and other 12 Step groups:
Strongly recommends participation in AA, NA or other programs in addition to any Christian support group. Use the 12 Steps of AA with minimal modification to include people working on issues other than alcohol addiction.

Groups:
No list of groups using their material is maintained. Ron and Val remain in informal contact with many leaders who use their material.

Events:
RPI does not organize events of their own.
